- Abstract
The article presents an assessment of the Minnesota Heart Health Program, a community-based physical activity campaign. Assessment was made in terms of community awareness and participation. The objective of this campaign is to reduce levels of cardiovascular disease risk in adults aged 25-74. It is believed that public health efforts to promote exercise in entire populations must take into consideration multiple community settings and communication channels to effect a broad reach of exposure throughout the population.
