Peritoneal tuberculosis (TB) represents a grave health problem in developing countries and accounts for a growing proportion of TB cases in traditionally low-burden regions[1]. Quantiferon-TB testing was positive for latent TB in progression to clinical disease and the patient was isolated and admitted to the infectious diseases unit.
