- Abstract
Sonography exam reported a 75*59*43 solid cystic mass with internal echo and septa and appendix were not evaluated due to past appendectomy; the provisional diagnosis of abdominal sepsis led to an emergency laparoscopy during which an enlarged ovarian abscess with omental adhesion was found adhesiolysis and oophorectomy was done. A 36-year-old woman two weeks after her emergent Caesarean section due to breach presentation came to our hospital with abdominal pain and fever since two days prior to admission. Her abdominal exam revealed generalised tenderness; inspected and palpated an abdominal mass in RLQ; other examination findings were normal.
