- Abstract
The article presents a case study of a 60 year-old female who had a 2 month history of a palpable painful lump in her right axilla, was taking oral contraceptive pill for and had undergone hormone replacement therapy. It states that a single 20 mm palpable lesion suspicious of a lymph node was detected in her right axilla. The results of mammography and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) of the breasts, chest, and abdomen are given. A grade 3 large-cell neuroendocrine tumor was detected.
