- Abstract
The authors describe a case of a one-year-old Japanese boy with juvenile xanthogranuloma (JXG) experiencing dermoscopic changes. Topics discussed include the setting sun appearance of a cheek lesion, the appearance of branched vessels and paler yellow globules, and the emergence of an erythematous macule with fine telangiectasia. Also mentioned are the difficulties of skin biopsies in young patients and the diminution of the setting sun appearance after 43 months of follow up.
