- Abstract
"The Relationship Between Spiritual Quality and Self-Adaptation in Cancer Patients Receiving Chemotherapy" is a study that examines the connection between spiritual quality and self-acceptance in cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy. The research involved 125 patients receiving chemotherapy and used a correlation with a cross-sectional approach. The findings revealed a significant positive relationship between spiritual quality and self-adaptation in these patients. The study suggests that incorporating spirituality into nursing care can be beneficial for chemotherapy patients. Additionally, the article discusses another study that focused on the subjective well-being of cancer patients receiving chemotherapy, finding a significant relationship between spiritual quality and illness acceptance. It also noted that women had higher subjective well-being scores than men. The study emphasizes the importance of spirituality in human life and its impact on coping abilities. The results can guide nurses in providing care for chemotherapy patients using a spiritual approach.
