The article presents a study which explored the influence of bats and birds on leaf damage and insect biomass in tropical forest restoration areas. Exclosure experiment was used in examining bats and birds' tap-down effects on leaf damage and insects. Results showed that bats and birds damage planted trees and reduce herbivorous insecys in restoration systems.
