- Abstract
The article discusses a study which investigated the reasons for low oxygen saturation and its correlation with postoperative complications in the early period following laparoscopic Roux-en-Y gastric bypass (LRYGB). The patients were classified depending on whether they experienced low oxygen saturation postoperatively. Obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) was found to be the most common cause of low oxygen saturation.
