- Abstract
The article explores the use of online learning platforms to enhance reflective and critical or higher cognitive thinking of students as integrated in traditional and hybrid formatted curriculums. It discusses the components of critical theory and the sociological domains in the Triarchic Theory of Intelligence, and presents the steps in developing the hybrid platform. Examples of best practices, pedagogy and planning for the implementation of critical and cognitive thinking are provided.
