The scientific article reflects the results of analyzing the obtained data within the research about the views on prospective family among the children coming from shelters and the children brought up in families. The conducted empirical research proves that for the children coming from shelters the views on prospective family are based on the early family experience of their parents, surrounding people and the view on family includes such notions as emotional comfort, stability and opportunities to have support and love. There are also determined the reasons for forming a positive and negative attitude to family life.
