- Abstract
The article offers information on the new recommendations from the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) about menstrual bleeding disorders in adolescents. It further discusses immaturity of the hypothalamic pituitary- ovary axis leads to anovulation; quantify the frequency of pad or tampon use and whether bleeding through products onto clothing and sheets occurs; Evaluation of hemodynamic stability; and also mentions other gynecologic considerations.
