- Authors
Eslick, Guy D.
- Abstract
Helicobacter infection may be transmitted sexually, during the act of oral-anal intercourse. A literature search was performed using MEDLINE and Current Contents (January 1983 to September 2001). Combinations of relevant keywords were used and additional manual searches were made using the reference lists from the selected articles to retrieve other papers relevant to the topic. Helicobacter infection may be transmitted via faeces during the sexual act of oral-anal intercourse with an infected individual.
