The article discusses the use of the book of Song of Songs in preaching. It highlights the models of interpretation and application of the book which include non-literal hermeneutic and non-literal application, literal hermeneutic and non-literal application, and literal hermeneutic and literal application. It explores the keys to preaching the Song of Songs including classifying the genre as wisdom literature, acknowledging Solomon's role, and recognizing the absence of God.
