- Abstract
The author presents his experiences and roles as apart of various GLBT film festivals, specifically while showing his film "My Brother Nikhil." He discusses and describes how the varying audiences received the film. Through his touring for "My Brother Nikhil," the author found that GLBT audiences were apart of a global community that all reacted to the film in a similar way. He explains the struggles that GLBT films and festivals face in conservative societies and how this turmoil provides the sort of environment that art thrives in.
