- Abstract
The article presents a study which examined the potential of the isolated Bacillus siamensis strain as a lipopeptide antibiotics and biocontrol agent against Fusarium head blight (FHB). FHB is a destructive fungal disease caused by Fusarium graminearum. Also cited are the use of scanning electron microscopy to monitor the effects of the isolated strain against the mycelia of F. graminearum, and the effectiveness of the lipopeptide biosurfactant as antifungal agent.
