- Abstract
The aim of this study was to determine the difference in some serum metabolites of Kankrej cattle in different pregnant and nonpregnant cows. Animals were divided in three groups as non-pregnant, mid-pregnant (4-6 month pregnancy) and late pregnant (6- 8 month pregnancy) animal. The present study occurs on serum metabolites (Glucose, cholesterol, BUN, urea and triglycerides). Serum cholesterol concentration was significantly (P<0.05) lower in pregnant animals. Serum glucose, BUN, urea and triglycerides all parameters have non significant (P<0.05) changes during pregnancy
