- Abstract
The article discusses the problems associated with the application of traditional student speech to the Internet in the U.S. It explores the basic framework used to allow public schools to regulate student speech, as well as well as their ability to regulate such actions that is unprotected by the First Amendment. It also deals with different Internet speeches and the means used by the lower court to determine when schools can punish students for off-campus actions.
