- Abstract
The article discusses the establishment of 8 health technology cooperatives (HTCs) which aims to act as catalyst for the National Health Services (NHS) "pull" to develop new medical devices and healthcare technologies, focus on clinical areas and/or themes of high morbidity and work collaboratively with patients and patient groups. The National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) WoundTec HTC particularly addresses innovation associated with unmet needs in wound prevention and treatment.
