- Abstract
The article discusses a research conducted by Canadian colleges and universities in collaboration with community organizations which reveals the impacts of global food system to the planet's atmospheric and oceanic chemistry. It highlights the fundamental problems of the global system such as water contamination. Also emphasized is the food literacy program to develop individual's skills in cooking a good and nutritious meal.
