- Abstract
The article discusses the negative impact of substance abuse on the social life of the people and the usage of Ecstasy (3,4-methylenedioxymethamphetamine, MDMA) and paint thinner can cause myocardial infarction (MI). Topics discussed include mild sinus tachycardia revealed by electrocardiography (ECG), coronary angiography of left anterior descending artery (LAD), and coronary vasospasm, catecholamine-mediated platelet aggregation and increase in shear stress.
