The article explores the use and manipulation of the terms concerning firearm laws in New York. Topics discussed include introduction of the New York Secure Ammunition and Firearms Enforcement (SAFE) Act of 2013; decision of the U.S. Supreme Court in the case 'District of Columbia v. Heller'; federal gun laws in the U.S.; and Second Amendment of the U.S. Constitution that protect the right of the people to keep and bear arms in the country.
