- Abstract
In this article, the author discusses his experiences and efforts in becoming a successful parent via compensated surrogacy and egg donation. He reports about various state and federal legal challenges faced by him including Washington State's criminal prohibition on compensated surrogacy alongwith federal guidelines issued by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration on the use of sperm by gay donors in the process of in vitro fertilization.
