- Abstract
In this article the author discusses tax issues that face Islamic investors following Shari'a law. Topics include financial institutions that want to tap into the growing Islamic finance markets, Islamic financial products, debt-equivalents such as Islamic sukuk, or bonds, and dividends. Tax issues related to money placed by Islamic investors into special purpose entities (SPE) are discussed.
