- Abstract
Learning point for cliniciansIsolated interstitial lung disease due to anti-synthetase syndrome (ASS) is an uncommon disease that may mimic infectious diseases, COVID pneumonia or malignancy. To rule out malignant process, computed tomography (CT)-guided lung biopsy showed atypical pneumocytes with hob-nailing pattern lining alveoli and thick fibrous septae between alveoli resembling organizing pneumonia (Figure 1B) likely secondary to ASS.
