A case study is presented of a nine-year-old boy presented with a large Kasabach–Merritt syndrome, computed tomography of the chest showed a left pleural effusion and pulmonary atelectasis, further diagnosis of Kaposiform haemangioendothelioma with Kasabach–Merritt phenomenon (KMP) was made.
