- Title
MIGUEL FLETA, EL TENOR QUE DENUNCIÓ A LA SEGUNDA REPÚBLICA POR INCUMPLIMIENTO DE CONTRATO.
- Authors
Rodríguez López, Mauricio
- Abstract
This research article aims to shed light on the last legal appointment of the tenor Fleta for breach of contract. Specifically, we refer to the one initiated in January 1933 against the National Board of Music and Lyric Theaters, hereinafter JNMTL, and extended until October 1935, during the Second Republic. Contrary to what was published in the press in 1933, and in various monographs on the tenor's life, Fleta was not the only one convicted. This article will be limited to extracting the necessary data to explain how it came to that legal situation and to present the facts collected in the summary that made the legal acts against the JNMTL possible.
