- Abstract
The article reports on the preparation for pharmacy residency accreditation surveys in the U.S. It states that the American College of Clinical Pharmacy (ACCP) and the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) affirm that residency training is the vehicle for progress in the profession. It notes that the government requires residency programs in hospitals being accredited by ASHP before they can pursue funding. Details regarding the process of residency accreditation are included.
