- Abstract
Here we present a step-by-step operative video demonstrating transanal NOSE following three-port anterior resection and single-stapling colorectal anastomosis technique. Following left-sided bowel resection and transanal specimen extraction, several methods can be used to prepare the bowel ends for anastomosis. Following transanal NOSE, the circular stapler anvil is introduced into the abdomen via the transanal wound protector and anchored to the proximal bowel using an intracorporeal purse-string suture applied to the proximal bowel.
