- Title
Netanyahu's Speech to the UN.
- Authors
Jones, David T.
- Abstract
The article examines the speech by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu delivered at the United Nations General Assembly. The author relates the annual speeches by world leaders, and considers them as an exercise in political rhetoric and media manipulation rather than thoughtful substantive commentary. He says that Netanyahu's speech is worth special attention because he excoriated those who would deny the Holocaust by presenting Nazi plans for the Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp.
