- Abstract
The article presents information on the need of Thailand for the support of Asian countries to cope in this time of economic crisis. As stated, the income of Thailand comes from their exports and their tourism industry. It is noted that a regional monetary fund of 80 billion U.S. dollars (USD) is being planned when the Association of Southeast Nations (ASEAN) plus 3 will meet in Thailand for fiscal plans to stimulate domestic and regional demands for goods. It also noted that the political turmoil has caused damage to the reputation of Thailand.
