- Abstract
The article focuses on the risk of fibromuscular dysplasia (FMD) development in the right kidney of female who donated her left kidney. It presents the case of a 40-year-old woman kidney donor who developed hypertension after 3 years from operation and showed graft artery and anastomosis abnormalities. It notes that end-stage renal failure associated with FMD are significant risk of kidney donation which indicates that donors should be thoroughly evaluated for potential complications.
