The article presents information on the recent developments in the criminal laws and legislations of Minnesota. The issues related to the exclusion of battered woman syndrome evidence by expert witness, need of adult certification order by the juvenile court and new standards for custody credit are discussed. The problems related to consecutive sentences, domestic abuse and double jeopardy are also discussed.
