- Abstract
The article reports on the results of research that evaluated the female use of contraceptives and HIV prevention measures. More measures allowing for female control are required as sex and HIV prevention are frequently controlled by men in many parts of the world. The data showed that female sexual pleasure and frequency increased possibly due to the perceived protection by the products used in the study. Male condom use increased as well. Vaginal microbicides and diaphragms were used in the study.
