The article offers the author's perspectives about the costs and benefits of bid protests among contractors in the U.S. The author provides an overview of the bid protest process, the legal challenges brought by biddgers against how the federal government has conducted its procurements. He also tackles how the benefits of the bid protest system have outweighed the burdens it imposes on the procurement system.
