- Abstract
The article analyzes the interpretations of Turkish Delight, its cultural association with winter and Christmas and the connection between "The Chronicles of Narnia" and William Shakespeare's "Twelfth Night," and the problem of Susan who has never shown an interest in sex. Topics discussed are sexuality and sexual desire in Narnia, the idea of disciplining unruly desire as a means to control misrule in order to restore order, and the discourse of Orientalism.
