- Abstract
Silicon carbide-graphite core-shells (SiC-GRCSs) structure were synthesized using the thermal chemical vapor deposition method. The systhesis time was varried, ranging from 1 to 4 min. The morphological, structural, compositional, and electrical properties of the SiC-GRCS structure at different of synthesis time were analyzed and investigated. The optimized SiC-GRCS structure were then applied as electrodes in pseudosupercapacitor applications. Electrochemical measurements were conducted using the cyclic voltammetry and galvanostatic charge–discharge (GCD) techniques. The SiC-GRCS structure exhibited a high specific capacitance of approximately 3415 F/g at a current density of 0.25 A/g.
