- Abstract
The article discuses events held in Edinburgh, Scotland to celebrate the five-hundredth anniversary of German reformer Martin Luther’s 1517 posting of his Ninety-Five Theses which marked the beginning of the Reformation. Events included the January 2016 conference “Remembering the Reformation: Looking Back and Looking Forward," the February 2017 Cunningham Lectures on topics of the Reformation at the University of Edinburgh’s School of Divinity by Thomas Kaufman, and the October 2017 public lecture "Lovers or Brawlers: Protestants and Their Bibles from the Reformation to the Present” by Alec Ryrie.
