- Abstract
We have investigated the properties of pyrocarbon films formed as a foil on nickel and copper substrates by means of deposition from a mixture of helium with methane, CH, or with vapors of ethanol, CHOH, at atmospheric pressure. It has been established that when a nickel substrate is heated to a temperature of 1300-1400°C, graphitized films with a high degree of crystallinity are formed on the substrate surface.
