This article examines two original emendations in the text of William Shakespeare's poem "Measure for Measure" for the third edition of the "Norton Shakespeare". It discusses the attempt of Angelo to entrap Isabella into compromising herself, the disguise of the Duke as a Friar and asks Mariana if she trusts him, and similarities between the emendations.
