- Abstract
The article discusses a March 1,1850 letter written by English poet William Wordsworth to Sir Charles Beaumont Phipps, held at the ducal autograph collection in the Veste Coburg, at Coburg, Germany. It discusses Wordsworth's collection of prints of the royal children of Queen Victoria of Great Britain and her consort Prince Albert, the 1846 correspondence between Wordsworth and the Lord Chamberlain George John Sackville-West, 5th Earl De La Warr, and Wordsworth's attitude towards his appointment as poet laureate.
