- Abstract
The article offers poetry criticism of Luigi Pulci's epic poem "Morgante." It discusses the role of treachery as a vice, political implications, and biblical allusions in the poem. The characters Margutte, Morgante, and Astolfo are analyzed. Pulci's use of Dante Alighieri's "Divina Commedia" in his poetry, giants, and the vice of pride are also explored.
