- Abstract
Since 2013, the application of BIM Technology in the railway industry has entered a period of rapid development. The design of bridge engineering has to create manually a three-dimensional steel model of the lower structure, which seriously restricts the actual production. Therefore, it is urgent to develop programs and liberate the laborforce. In view of this situation, the original functions of Bentley software are redeveloped combined with relevant standards, BIM and C language technology, and its applications in Xian-Ankang High-speed Railway are summarized. The results show that: (1) the substructure reinforcement program is developed with good performance and expansibility, and applied to many long trunk railways; (2) the program greatly improves the efficiency of model creation and the accuracy of attribute information transmission, and fundamentally changes the current situation that it is difficult to manually add attributes to 3D models; (3) the program meets the needs of deepening design, accurately generates two-dimensional drawings and calculates the engineering quantity, checks the design results and improves the design quality; (4) the information model can realize sharing and circulation in multi-stage construction, and improve the quality and level of construction projects.
