- Abstract
This research is entitled: The consequences of taking off the veil in the three religions: Judaism - Christianity - Islam [A comparative study]. The objective of the study is to demonstrate the consequences of taking off the veil and adornment in total, in this world and the hereafter, besides the harms of taking of the veil on woman, man and the society. As well as to clarify the importance of the woman's veil and the agreement of the three religions of its obligatory, and the prohibition of its taking off. The importance of the research appears in the aggression intensification on the veil and fighting against it, in addition to the increasing of the phenomenon of the adornment . The researcher followed to collecting the research material, the descriptive method, then the comparative method, where the research structure included three chapters: In the 1st chapter, the researcher mentioned Allah's Gratitude on mankind by the concealment which He prescribed for them from heaven, as well as mentioning the consequences of adornment in Judaism, Christianity and Islam. While the 2nd chapter, tackled the bad effects that afflict on woman regarding the medical and psychological aspects, in addition to the effects afflict intellectually and morally on man, besides mentioning the effect of adornment on the society appears in spreading depravation, and that might be a reason of entitlement to Allah's General Punishment. In the 3rd chapter the researcher mentioned the most prominent evidences of the obligatory of the veil in the Judaism, Christianity and Islam. The study concluded to several results top of which are: that taking off the veil and woman adornment have negative effects on woman, man and the society in total, among these results is the agreement of the three religions on the importance and obligation of the veil, where taking it off resulted in penalties, as well as there are texts of the Torah, the Bible and the Qur’an on the obligation of the veil.
