- Abstract
This work investigated the degradation of coking wastewater via electrochemical oxidation on a PbO2 anode. This process showed a high current efficiency for effective coking wastewater treatment. The influences of parameters such as current density, electrolyte concentration and initial concentration of coking wastewater were investigated to increase our understanding of this process. Under the optimum condition current density of 50 mA/cm², 0.4 mol/l Na2SO4, initial quality concentration of coking wastewater 100 mg/l, after 2 h degradation, the total organic carbon (TOC) removal reached 58.25%.
