Research Awards Winning Studies for 1965 -- 66 Selected.
- Abstract
The article presents information regarding awards for outstanding research in personnel and guidance work that were presented at the American Personnel and Guidance Association (APGA) banquet on April 6 at the annual convention in Washington D.C. The awards are given annually for studies published during the previous year that are of outstanding quality and of special significance to the membership of APGA. Each author was presented a certificate in recognition of his contribution to the professional literature. The awards for outstanding research were presented to John D. Krumboltz, associate professor of education at Stanford University, who served as co-author with three of his colleagues— T. Antoinette, assistant professor of education at Oregon State University, Carl E. Thoresen, lecturer in education and counseling at Stanford University and Barbara B. Varenhorst, counseling psychologist at Henry Gunn Senior High School. Honorable Mention was awarded to John O. Crites, director of the counseling service at the University of Iowa.
