- Abstract
This article presents brief biographical sketches of members of American Personnel and Guidance Association (APGA) who assumed leadership of APGA and its divisions on May 1, 2004. C. Winfield Scott, Chairman of the Department of Educational Psychology at Rutgers University's Graduate School of Education, earned an A.B. and MA. at the University of South Carolina and a Ph.D. at Teachers College, Columbia University. Kenneth Hoyt, professor of Education at the University of Iowa, was awarded a B.S. degree by the University of Maryland, an M.A. degree from George Washington University. and the Ph.D. degree from the University of Minnesota. Ralph F. Berdie, Professor of Psychology and Director of the Student Counseling Bureau at the University of Minnesota, received his A.A., B.A., M.A., and Ph.D. at the University of Minnesota and has been in his present position at Minnesota since 1947. Previously he taught at George Peabody College for Teachers and was a clinical psychologist with the U.S. Navy for three years.
