- Abstract
The article presents a report on a rare case of oncocytoma of the lacrimal gland of a 64-year-old Asian woman. A computed tomography (CT) scan showed a mass 1.7 x 2.4 x 2.1 cm. behind the lacrimal fossa indenting the upper lateral aspect of the right globe and extending backwards to the retroglobal space. The mass was removed through a lateral orbitotomy through a zygomatic bony flap. Histopathology revealed a benign oncocytoma from the right lacrimal gland, no remnant of the mass lesion was found after 13 months of follow-up.
