This article discusses research being conducted on organizational behavior, applied psychology, labor economics and labor-management relations at the University of British Columbia Institute of Industrial Relations. It also lists researchers conducting these studies, including Peter Frost and T. P. Haridas who examined the connection between task interest and individual performance, Edro Signori, who studied the sociology of disadvantaged individuals in employment opportunities, and Vance Mitchell's work concerning management attitudes and collective representation.
