- Abstract
This article aims to identify meanings and practices of reconciliation between excombatants of the FARC-EP in the process of reincorporation in Territorial Spaces for Training and Reincorporation (ETCR, fot its initials in Spanish) and surrounding communities. It was developed through qualitative research with a phenomenological-hermeneutic approach. Two instruments were designed with a differential focus on excombatants and community leaders: discussion group (DG) and semi-structured in-depth interview (II). In total, 16 II were conducted with excombatants, 10 II with community leaders and 4 DG. The results were produced by means of content analysis, guided by pre-established categories. Thus, it could be identified that the contribution to peacebuilding of these processes is based on three types of exercises: daily coexistence, which has implied the reincorporation of excombatants and the end of armed violence; social inclusion, marked by the improvement of living conditions of excombatants and communities. Finally, spaces for confrontation with victims, contributions to the truth and recognition of responsibility. From this perspective, for excombatants and communities, territorial peace is not only the absence of war but also opportunities for well-being, so its sustainability also depends on the fulfillment of the commitments assumed in the Peace Agreement by the Colombian State.
