- Abstract
The article presents a study which seeks to evaluate the cases of deaths due to work-related mesothelioma in Japan between 2003 and 2005. It states that the study was done considering results of X-rays and pathological examinations of workers during the specified time frame together with questionnaire results gathered to identify medical histories. The study asserts that out of 442 cases of malignant mesothelioma detected through the procedure, 79.2 percent of it was due to asbestos exposure.
